Last friday, i had the best time showing the doc Naturally Obsessed to a Fort Lee High School research class taught by my former bio, genetics and research teacher. It was a great experience. So much so, I plan on attending their research symposium night at the end of the month. These teens have participated in a surprisingly diverse set of sophisticated science in labs all over the city.

disclosure: I did outreach and media consultation work for the movie last year. I have been dying to know what a general audience would think of the documentary Naturally Obsessed: The making of a scientist. I know for me, it was a very personal and emotional viewing; those lab feelings of frustration, camaraderie and fun poured out fast and often. Naturally Obsessed: The Making of a Scientist

If you see one movie about Science this year…Go see Naturally Obsessed: The making of a scientist. Ok, disclaimer time. I worked with the filmmakers on making additional media for this movie, and I am ultimately biased because the filmmakers and their staff are an amazing bunch of people, but that shouldn’t keep you from believing my next statement.
