Ernesto Neto at the Armory [photos]

The Park Avenue Armory recently finished presenting an installation of Ernesto Neto, a large scale visual artist, titled anthropodino. The Armory, a former training space for the armed forces, houses a massive hanger hall, that worked perfectly for this particular work. How the work filled the vast space, a rarity in increasingly cramped NYC, was something i wish my photos could capture, but at the least, i think i was able to portray how surreal and magical (no hyperbole) the afternoon was. gothamlist june 1st

I went to the timeless Park Ave Armory on Saturday to see Ernesto Neto’s spacious super piece. I recommend it HIGHLY, especially for children. I took way too many pictures to enjoy, so when i whittle down to some choice good ones, i will definitely post them here. Here is today’s gothamlist. The UCB show “Inside Joke” looks particularly fun.
