Quants and Economics as a science

I have written before how Seed Magazine’s last issue is dedicated to the idea that science can fix our economic problems. One particular article asks scientists and economists, “is Economics a science?” I have never really given it too much thought, because but the idea is intriguing, because if it was, we could do better to make it serve more people.
