Is it really the end of may already?! it surely doesn’t feel like it weatherwise. This weekend better deliver some summer time thrills like batting cage goodness. or else! Here is the gothamlist courtesy of gothamist.com. I usually say this about most gothamlists, but with the listing of a my little pony party, i can easily say there is something for everyone. The Gutter in Wburg is hosting a tournament this weekend. I wonder who will win the wburg bowling wars when newly minted Brooklyn Bowl gets going. My vote goes to the gutter, because it doesn’t try to be anything but a classic bowling time.

mid 60s today and high chance of rain. ahhh the spasms of summer. mental note, never pre-order mets vs nats tickets. they will never sell out. everytime i see a revival of our town, i think of that episode of Growing Pains when mike’s performance in the play convinces him he wants to be an actor. Gothamlist says Slutty puppets for $7. Sounds like a perfect post-memorial day deal. Did you guys hear the one about times square and herald square sections of broadway now being closed to traffic, and now it’s a european city-esque plaza for people to sit and a relax and not fear oncoming honking taxis?
